Daily Deviation

Given 2010-07-29
The Murmur of the Innocents 8 is bar none the most impressive specimen of ultra-realism that I have ever come across on deviantART. When I full viewed on the thumbnail in =hellmet's note I did a double-take, and not just on this but every single Traditional piece in ~gottfriedhelnwein's gallery. And by god am I wowed. That and their devID is clear confirmation of authenticity. Better yet, there is more to this than impeccable technique. What can sometimes unfortunately result in a sense of hollowness as a trade-off for realism is completely thrown out the window here. There is a story, a continuous theme at that, fit to burst with powerful sentiments that get the wheels of imagination irrepressibly turning. Please take a closer look, and enjoy. Amazing work!!! I really love this realistic paintings and are very inspiring, I have some questions for you: How do you make this mixed media in the painting? Do you start painting a base with acrylic and then continuing with oil?

This would be the best photography I've seen in a long time, but there is something here, is a painting, makes it more special, makes it a painting reflective, dramatic, frightening and powerful (one of the most impressive I've seen), if one sees for a second more, she will carry her trembling hands just to your face and stain you of blood.

You're one of my best inspirations :).
Which is the artist that has most influenced your life as an artist?
Between their personal works, What would you consider the best or favorite?
:) (Sorry for my english)

There's an intensity of emotion that surged through me when I first looked at this. To me, I felt like it was a symbol of how fragile life is and that such a struggle is always coursing underneath our skin in the form of our limited time in this strange plain of existence and how we're blind to it, but it's plainly there. I understand that the artist's vision and the viewer's are always different and subjective. But, beyond all of that, this is one of the most gripping paintings I've ever seen in my life. I can't fully understand why, but it makes me feel in such a way that I will never forget it.

Thanks for that.
