The victims (most likely children), seen simply as "toys", is a visually chilling (and brilliant) commentary, of any war, in any part of the planet. The innocent expression and helpless body language of the doll only drives the bitter spike of realism of the "blind" child, with the most accurate and unwavering aim. This is horrifying, this is absolutely brilliant. Bravo, Mr. H.

Was mich schon immer interessiert hat Herr Helnwein, ist die Frage ob sie ausschließlich Pinsel zum schaffen eines solchen Werkes in Mischtechnik verwenden oder auch andere Hilfsmittel wie z.B Airbrush?
Denn in den Videos und auf Fotos sieht man sie immer nur mit Pinsel und ich würde auch nicht vermuten, dass sie Airbrush verwenden, allerings beschäftigt mich diese Frage seit ich gesehen habe, dass auch Fotorealisten aus den 70gern - zum Teil - Airbrush verwendet haben.

Helnwein used airbrush vor earlier works up until the 1980s. Since then he only uses brush.

So is it safe for me to assume that you aren't really Gottfried Helnwein? Not that that's a big deal seeing as all credit seems to be given (I at least get to favorite some of his work).
